The boss has gone down to one of our customers in Rainham today. Had I known, I would have asked if I could tag along as a "skive" day and got him to drive to my grandparent's old house and my very first home.

That moment you receive a text reminder about paying your credit card, and you search through your account statement because you're sure you paid it.

I've forgotten who created this, but FB says it was eight years ago.

It's only coz I made an official complaint to my bank this morning and when the nice young lady said: "I look forward to speaking with you later." and I responded: "Ah, you're only saying that because I didn't rant and rave at you."
For some reason, she burst out laughing? Nervous tension, I suspect?

We're currently at 37C; given I grew up "Down saarf" I'm used to temperatures five degrees warmer than up here. They're all moaning like mad in the office, but I suspect the real reason is that the bosses won't let them go home. :-D
