Run Linux GUI apps on a Widows subsystem https://devblogs.microsoft.com/commandline/the-initial-preview-of-gui-app-support-is-now-available-for-the-windows-subsystem-for-linux-2/

But remember, boys and girls, this isn't native. This is a low-level VM, kind of like the Wine project. Your app is running in its own layer. "Our intentions are for this system distro to be as invisible to the user as possible." In other words, "Smoke and Mirrors." ;-)

Before we all get carried away, let's not forget Dyson was offering to make ventilators for a profit but didn't want to pay any tax on it!

You've gotta admire Amazon. You never hear any accusations on "Monopoly" or "World Domination", and yet quietly and confidently, they slowly make themselves the default for our daily lives. https://www.engadget.com/amazon-delivery-installation-report-202738704.html

Pakistan shut down Facebook! If only. https://www.theregister.com/2021/04/19/pakistan_brief_social_media_ban/
I wonder how many didn't have a clue what to do with themselves for those four hours?

Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone who would use such a service so would never have been able to use referrals 😮

So here's a thing. Windstream did file for bankruptcy in 2019, and the wording of the "Letters" doesn't look misleading, scare mongering, maybe? But potentially true. Still, Windrush gets some much-needed money to pay off debtors, I suppose. ;-)

At first, I thought it was explosive customer feedback then I realised it was an attempt to bring down the Lizard men.

This is kinda like owning a Taxi and being taken to court for not charging your mum when you took her to the hospital.

At last, Brussels gets it. You have to place an order just like everyone else, not demand a supply simply because it's made in your country.

Of course, Prince Phillip's funeral is going to be fun. It'll either be a reconciliation or WWIII when Harry and Megan attend. The icing on the cake is if Piers Morgan gets an invite. 😱

Nobody makes much money on hardware these days; it's the support package you offer alongside the kit that generates the revenue.

"lets an authorised third party initiate the transfer of money out of your bank account on your behalf as an alternative to card payments" I'm not convinced that's a good idea. https://techcrunch.com/2021/04/08/truelayer-70m/
