Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone who would use such a service so would never have been able to use referrals 😮

TFFT! One of my daughters is at the hairdresser's.

So here's a thing. Windstream did file for bankruptcy in 2019, and the wording of the "Letters" doesn't look misleading, scare mongering, maybe? But potentially true. Still, Windrush gets some much-needed money to pay off debtors, I suppose. ;-)

At first, I thought it was explosive customer feedback then I realised it was an attempt to bring down the Lizard men.

Now that's interesting. Voice commands is a growing market. "Alexa, fill out my tax returns."

This is kinda like owning a Taxi and being taken to court for not charging your mum when you took her to the hospital.

At last, Brussels gets it. You have to place an order just like everyone else, not demand a supply simply because it's made in your country.

Hmm? It's only 24 hr (2,253.1 km) from the Ukraine to Brussels via A4
I wonder if the EU wants to be our friends again?

Of course, Prince Phillip's funeral is going to be fun. It'll either be a reconciliation or WWIII when Harry and Megan attend. The icing on the cake is if Piers Morgan gets an invite. 😱

Nobody makes much money on hardware these days; it's the support package you offer alongside the kit that generates the revenue.

"lets an authorised third party initiate the transfer of money out of your bank account on your behalf as an alternative to card payments" I'm not convinced that's a good idea. techcrunch.com/2021/04/08/true…

Wow! Why are people not up in arms? So Twitch can now tell you what to do if you want an account with them? Isn't that like selling your soul?

Charlie and I saw a cat tormenting a field mouse this morning. We tried saving its life, me making stupid "psssh" noises and Charlie barking. The cat, distracted for a second, saw the mouse limping off, sneered at us and promptly picked its victim up and waltzed off with it. Bye-bye Mickey. :'(

I want to take this opportunity to apologise to the world for pooh-poohing the Astra Zenica (Oxford) vaccine on Sunday to the Mrs little did I know the shitstorm that would unfold by Wednesday.

The people in the houses that back onto our property have taken to hanging around in their bedroom(s) pretending to be doing things while actually looking at other peoples gardens and houses. One guy is pretty blasé about it and actually hangs out the window!

This is a fairly important ruling that could have far wider implications.

Firefox possibly falls behind in the browser popularity stakes. news.slashdot.org/story/21/04/… although the article points out, there could be (Like mine) multiple browsers on any given system.

Any SysAdmin worth their salt should have an automated Backup routine in place. Having said that, some folk prefer a manual solution for whatever reason so I kinda like the idea of a "Happy Bachup Day" maybe Twitter et al can post it very Friday? it-hure.de/2021/04/happy-backu… P.S. This post is not propsing that by the way.
