Charlie and I saw a cat tormenting a field mouse this morning. We tried saving its life, me making stupid "psssh" noises and Charlie barking. The cat, distracted for a second, saw the mouse limping off, sneered at us and promptly picked its victim up and waltzed off with it. Bye-bye Mickey.
