Are you one of those who refuse to give your email address when the assistant asks: "Would you like an eRecipt?" This morning I needed the receipt for a purchase I made a few days ago, I couldn't find it. Luckily I had given my email address and there was an alternative to the paper one I had lost. Phew!

I came to work in such a good mood and then saw two emails.

"I unplugged the Qnap (Coz I'm a stupid twat) and plugged in the comms box. it didn't work, so I plugged the Qnap back in, and now that doesn't work!"

And then:

[An invite to create an account on the support portal] WHAT IS THIS!?

Dear UK Gov, please bring in forced sterilization. I don't want any more of these dickwads populating the planet.

So it's just me then that notices Joe Biden isn't doing away with any of Donald Trump's policies but rather streamlining them?

Why is Twitter and Social Media not outraged? Is it they like Biden more than Trump as a person rather than what they do? 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if the famous wall is still going up?

It's not just immigration. Lots of the policies we saw people frothing at the mouth over when Trump was in power are not only still in force but in some cases enhanced. I get the feeling it's that old game of 'deniability' "We never did it! It was Trump." or the other favourite "Ah, this is something we inherited from the Trump administration and is very difficult to reverse now." Yeah, right.

So I know some of you dislike 123 Reg, but I have to say their implementation of a fraudulent email reporting service deserves a pat on the back. At least they're taking responsibility for scams perpetuated in their name. Most organizations tell you it's not their problem and to report it to a government body.

And what's the company name? Zingo. Oh, and my name is not Morgan by the way. In fact, there's nobody named Morgan here! 🤦‍♂️

In my occupation we have some screws that we order that we need to do some jobs. They are phillips head and bugle shaped. In most catalogues they are called "Phil Bugle" screws. I always thought that Phil Bugle sounded like some sort of frilly shirted pirate for some reason.

Anyway, to make a long pointless point even longer for some reason, I think Phil Bugle would make a cool online pseudonym.

Oi @steevc give me £1,431.24, so I can run a #hive node.

England better win on Sunday night because it's starting to get silly in the UK.
Some schools have said pupils can come in late on Monday after watching the match.
Supermarkets are closing early so staff can watch the match.
The wife's work phoned and said she can come in late to watch the match.
There's a cry to have a snap Bank Holiday if we win the match.

That moment when you blow the dust off your Pi cluster. Rebuild the Docker Swarm from scratch, then actually bother to look at the hardware requirements, and it says: "Minimum of 20GB of RAM, and at least 400GB of fast local storage." Oops! I don't think 2.77GB of memory and a 32GB USB is gonna cut it? #HiveNode #clusterhat #raspberrypi

So with the announcement that social distancing rules will probably be lifted in the UK on the 19th of July, I await the Internet experts (mainly Twitter) to start telling us all how wrong it is and that the Government is cynically killing people while having spent the last 12 months telling us the Government is abusing our human rights by closing everything down.
