At one point, I was paying £1.98 for Supreme Diesel. Yesterday I paid £1.67. While that is still high, a drop of over 30p a litre is not to be sniffed at. This is why I wouldn't say I like news outlets; they only want to get you angry all the time.

I've used Epesi a number of times in the past and blogged about it. Epesi is an excellent CRM package that can be deployed cheaply (Raspberry Pi) anywhere.

So I've had a play with Fedora SilverBlue in a VM, and I like the concept. I downloaded the iso and burnt it to the Fedora USB I got from #fosdem; however, my X270 refuses to boot the USB; a spare DELL Laptop I have lying around did show me GRUB and looked like it was booting the "Try" option, but the screen just stayed black. This is 2023, not 2003, people! Get a grip for the love of The Pond Gods.
I really need to get back into Podcasting because my predictions keep coming true!
I was talking about this potentially happening to a few people at #fosdem

For crying out loud. How hard was that?

𝗠𝗲: "Hmm? Well, they should be in the contract, but I bet they aren't. TBH, it is unimportant. Basically, we need to swap the drive out, re-install and take the machine back; we can worry about files on dead drives later."
𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗚𝘂𝘆: "But I wanted to see what size the drive is."
𝗠𝗲: "You'll see that when we get the machine back here? Give the ticket to me; I'll sort it out [It'll be quicker if I do it by the looks of it!]." 🤦♂️
Dear Mastodon
Please allow the exporting of followers. I really can't see the point of not allowing this because all I have to do is select all of my followers under my profile, copy them, and then paste them into a spreadsheet. The ballache is having to manually edit the content of the cells so that they can be imported into A-another instance.

Me: "So I've done another cracking deal. We'll go and collect a new laptop from the customer, bring it back here and set up the new user, put all the required programs, VPN etc. on via intune, take the laptop back, and I'm charging £95 per user."
NewGuy: "They buy their stuff from Dell, don't they? Why don't they give Dell their AZURE keys, and Dell will put the programs on for them?"
Me: "GREAT! You've just stopped our company from earning around £6K a year for very little work."

Yes, it would be so much easier to send just one type of tanks. One spare part for the entire fleet instead of five different parts and five different trainings and five different maintenance manuals and ...
But how?
Each nation helps with what is in stock. Would it be better to say "we supply only tank XYZ in sufficient quantities"? Yes. Is it realistic? No!
It is what it is.

Militarily it's probably more harm than good although it will boost moral for a very short time.
My first thought was: "But it'll take weeks to ship those from the states?" (According to Google, it'll take 28 days) then I realised, The US is likely to strip its defences of tanks already deployed in Europe.
