I'll tell you what's funny about working in the IT industry, especially on the sales side of things. I spend my time raving about data throughput speeds, time-saving functions, faster communication capabilities and immediate scalability improvements and then when it comes to implementation, it's all "Ah, well, umm? we're looking at X days/Months......"

Watched 𝗟đ—ļ𝘃đ—ļđ—ģ𝗴 đ—Ēđ—ļ𝘁đ—ĩđ—ŧ𝘂𝘁 đ—Ē𝗮𝘁𝗲đ—ŋ on Netflix this morning. Thank the Pond Gods I don't have to scrabble down the hill to beg for water from the residents below!

This documentary focuses on the many residents of Lima, Peru, who are forced to pay up to a week's salary for just one day's water.

I am currently playing Whack-A-Mole with suppliers as they make every excuse to get out of actually looking for the items requested and instead are hoping I do the leg work for them.

It's starting to get to the point where it will only become interesting if the press releases a picture of a party that DOSEN'T have Boris in it. #

HBS 3 keeps telling me there are sync errors, yet I cannot find these "Thumbs" it's complaining about?

I still can't get my head around paying to have a wooden floor fitted and then searching for a rug to go over the top of it? 😱 đŸ¤Ļ‍♂ī¸

OK, so I've been playing down these price rises, brushing them off with comments like: "There's no use moaning; you've got to have it, so you've got to pay for it." This lunchtime, it hit me personally! A pound, A POUND! I can't believe they've stuck a pound on the larger I've taken a shine to!

A customer has asked me to arrange for a redirect on a domain they own. The site it redirects to is very nice, although, for some strange reason, they asked us to point to /en? The site has one of those "Choose your language features", so I said: "Huh! Given everyone is falling over themselves to be seen to support Ukraine, I would have thought the default would be UA?" Select UA, and the language is English! Bwahahaha đŸ¤Ŗ

Well, that's fooked it! No more Blade Runner then? It won't be the same without Vangelis writing the music for it. :-(
