The sky was full of planes this morning while walking the dog; I kid you not! Clearly, as of March 2022, 92,065 people were not worried about fuel bills or food prices. I wonder how many flights there'll be by the end of today? caa.co.uk/Documents/Download/9…

Probably. Not anymore, though. I'm gonna pick on football matches as well. How much does a ticket cost? When do season tickets have to be bought, and how much do those cost?

Chelsea season tickets range from £750-£1000. They have to be purchased before the season starts in August. Not quite sure what point you're making.

There are plenty of loyal long standing supporters who have been priced out of attending live matches.

But that's fine as they can smoke 40 fags, supping Special Brew and enjoy the game on Sky while placing in game bets on the latest iPhone.

Are you 'Dick Turpin' in disguise? And guess what, turned out that you are.

You need to have a look at other platforms outside of Fediverse everyone has multiple accounts these days even on Twitter.

I'm stunned; people ask, "What point are you making?" It's pretty fecking obvious. If people can still afford Football or cable TV, they shouldn't be moaning about heating or food bills. Then again, Brits do like to moan; it's why the Australians call us whinging Poms.

You implied that every single person who attends a football match also protests about fuel and cost of living increases. Which is clearly bullshit and I only need one counter example to disprove it. My rent boy supporting mate, Richard. There you go.

Yes, prices have gone up. I suspect it is not as widespread as the Media and Social media would have you believe. Yes, fuel is more expensive, but the media loves to turn the emotional screws and pander to the gullible by telling us how EVERYONE has to make difficult choices when in reality the vast majority still have Sky Sports, holidays abroad and twenty fags a day.

There are people in Africa and across the globe who have to choose which child to feed and which one not to feed every day and have done so for centuries. I suspect a homeless person would argue: "At least you have a roof over your head!" when folk post on Twitter or speak to a BBC reporter about whether to have the heating on or not.

The fuel and food price rises were inevitable. There's no murky rich man plan to squeeze the poor. We've had a pandemic whereby the vast majority across the globe did not work but still consumed. In the UK, we've had Brexit, which means changes that will affect prices, and now we have a war going on in Ukraine that is affecting food and energy supplies. This is a global problem, not a local one. Unfortunately, the solution is "Time." time for things to calm down and return to a level of normality, although unfortunately, it'll never return to "How things used to be."
