So here's the dilemma: The Conservatives, whom I have voted for since the age of 18, will lose. I accept that. Normally, I would berate anyone for "Voting tactically," but I'm worried that the Tories will be absolutely slaughtered at the Polls tomorrow, and apparently, voting for someone who will lose is a wasted vote. We need a strong opposition, not some mishmash of Heinz 57 parties. With that in mind, I'm tempted to vote for Reform. 😟

in reply to Steve • •As I said (to someone looking for an argument) on 𝐗, under normal circumstances, I would never vote for Reform even though I freely admit to agreeing with one or two of their policies. My issue is that I would NEVER vote for Labour; the Liberals have a worse leader than Labour, in my opinion. The Greens are just a bunch of feckless amateurs, and I can't see myself voting for Count Binface even if he did have a candidate in my constituency.
TBH, the media and Social Media have done far too good a job telling everyone how the Tories are going to be annihilated; desperate means calls for desperate measures. If Social Media et al. are right and Reform is doing well, then maybe they're worth backing for the next five years. I'll probably end up voting Conservative, which will apparently be a wasted vote. 😢
