We've all done and said things we regret; you can't keep paying for those mistakes over and over again what we can do is make sure we grow and improve every day.

Of course! The struggle is when someone keeps blaming you and wants you to pay for it again and again. This makes you weak and at some point you believe it.

*actual situation, be careful

Seriously mate, they're not worth it no matter who they are. Some people get their rocks off playing the victim card and, in many cases, are far worse than you or I because when they don't let something drop, the pain they are inflicting is far worse than anything they believe they suffered. I subscribe to a line from a song: "I will forgive, but I will never forget."

Weird? I replied to @Thomas and yet the response came through on Mastodon tagged to you? I'm fairly sure I'm not pissed? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

You're totally right. To make it worse, people who blame you everywhere, so everyone is starting to believe you're to blame, AND you can't avoid them.

Welcome to my life

Meh, stand behind me, mate; I'll protect you. People LOVE to argue with me. So much so that they make it look like it's me causing trouble when, in fact, it is them! Take recent events, for example.

Now I could have continued arguing, which was pissing everyone off, or I could just block the twat. Notice how quiet things are? It just goes to prove my point. It's not me. It's them. 🀣
