I'm not sure it'll matter at this point. Both sides are starting to sound like they're the IRA and Sinn Fein gearing up for a long conflict akin to The Troubles. That would tear us apart in fairly short order if the Capitol Insurrection was any indication.

It is too early in the day to be so maudlin. I can't deny it is looking pretty bad. On the bright side there is still plenty of countryside for all to visit here in the Americas...
