Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.
I have eaten the Chicken Big Mac, large fries 5 cheesy bites and an orange juice.

The orange juice was really overkill!

However, I haven't been to MCD for at least 5 years, as the quality significantly dropped and the prices increased, at least where I live. We can have a full Kebab for the price of a Big Mac.

@tpheine I have to admit that I still stop at the McDonalds for breakfast when I have to go into the office. Other places are available but... convenience.

@Paul
Maybe it's totally different in Belgium. I always say: it doesn't matter the name, it's always the staff that makes the difference.

@tpheine It's all pretty anonymous to be honest. The main thing that the McDonalds at the station has is plenty of seating.

The sausage egg McMuffin in Brussels is nothing like the one we have in the UK. I thought the Brussels one was disgusting. 🤮
in reply to dick_turpin

I don't think I've ever seen a sausage and egg mcmuffin. The one I always go for is the double egg and bacon. And a coffee, of course 😉

@Paul

Do they still have unlimited coffee refill during breakfast times?

Once upon a time we had it in Germany at MCD, because "we are an American restaurant, hence unlimited refill". But now they seem to be owned by a non American Company, obviously.

@Paul
in reply to Thomas

@tpheine Not that I'm aware of. I've never seen any refills option -- if you want another coffee you have to buy it.

ROTFLMAO

TBH, I hate having to buy drinks at fast-food restaurants. It's almost like they will refuse to sell you the food if you don't buy a fourteen-gallon cup of Coke. I've had so many bad experiences where the lid has come off in the car I refuse to buy drinks other than the screw top orange juice.

in reply to dick_turpin

I can certainly appreciate that. I generally eat in so it's not such a problem, but those plastic lids are a nightmare.

In pennance you must eat salad for lunch all five days of next week - you bad boy! 😂

LOL. I've been having soup for the last three or four weeks. I even dug out my two bags of Huel yesterday and had a flask full.
